Brr. So bloody COLD. Of course, it WOULD be that hard to turn the heat up right now. Ah, parent logic. However, it IS the perfect weather for reading some good fanfiction. Writing a bit, too, as most of my favourite authors seem to think, which is why I've spent so much time reading. Ah, circles of greatness. :)
So, my NaNoWriMo counter. Pathetic, yes? Still, it's not really my fault. I mean, they started it on a thursday! How rude. I'm the opposite of most people I suppose- I work a long weekend, and then end up doing most of my writing in the middle of the week. Blerg. So hopefully, that counter will shine up a bit more over the next coming week.
Secret #1 to writing: Create a main character that doesn't want to shut up. E.G., Kaiya. She's waiting for her chance to talk. This also applies to fanfiction: Inuyasha isn't too keen on being silenced, either.
